In a new step reflecting media cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Yemen, Major General Sameh Qatta, Chairman and Managing Director of Nilesat, today signed an official contract with the Yemeni side to broadcast Saba TV Channel via Nilesat satellites.
The Yemeni side was represented at the signing ceremony by Mr. Iskandar Al-Asbahi, Director General of the Yemeni Radio and Television Corporation, Mr. Baligh Al-Mikhlafi, Media Advisor, and Mr. Khaled Alian, Head of the Television Sector at Saba Satellite Channel.

The signing of this contract comes within the framework of both sides’ commitment to strengthening media and cultural cooperation and expanding the scope of satellite broadcasting for Yemeni channels, thus contributing to delivering the purposeful media message to a wider audience in the Arab region.

For his part, Major General Sameh Qatta welcomed the addition of Saba TV to the Nilesat network, emphasizing the company’s commitment to supporting Arab media and enabling channels to deliver their voice and vision to Arab viewers with high quality and broad coverage.

It’s worth noting that Saba TV is one of the official channels of the Yemeni Radio and Television Corporation, and is dedicated to providing media content that reflects Yemeni culture and keeps pace with the aspirations of Yemeni youth.
