Chairman of the Board of Directors And CEO General Sameh Katta of the Egyptian Satellite Company, announced that the company’s net profits rose to about $65.6 million during 2025, compared to about $57.7 million in 2024, an increase of $7.921 million, representing a growth rate of 13.73% over the previous year, reflecting the company’s continued strong performance.
This came during the ordinary general assembly meeting of Nilesat, held yesterday, Monday, during which the company’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2025, were approved.
General Katta explained that the increase in profits is due to the rise in the company’s total revenues by about US$5.911 million, in addition to the decrease in the company’s total expenses by about US$2.010 million during the year, compared to the total expenses of the corresponding period of last year.
The Chairman noted that the general assembly approved the distribution of cash dividends to shareholders at a rate of 0.65 cents per share for the results of the year 2025.
General Sameh Katta added that the results of Nilesat’s work confirm the company’s continued commitment to enhancing its satellite and satellite broadcasting services, with a focus on developing the technological infrastructure and expanding the range of services provided to its customers in the region.
